Military dity move a soldiers friend
Moving is a pain, more than any other chore in life. Moving can cause intense stress and frustration for all involved in the moving process. Imagine all the stress and busyness that moving would cause in your own life. Now add that you are in the military, where your job is to fight on the lines against Americas enemies. Our fighting solider not only have to deal with the immense stress their jobs place on themselves, their families, and their friends, they also have to worry about the process off moving like anyone else. Thankfully however, when those individuals in the United States of Americas armed forces have to move to a different base, or have to move their family because of an assignment they have the option of a military dity move. A military dity move most likely sounds totally foreign to civilians, like a foreign language. Well to those in Americas Armed Forces, a military dity move can be a familiar phrase.
A military dity move is a complicated term but its definition is actually quite simple. A military dity move is when a solider moves his belongings and family to another home, and the government reimburses the solider for the costs of moving. The dity in the term military dity move stands for do it your self, a phrase most individuals here in this country would know meaning you complete the project yourself instead of having a professional do it. So a solider who is completed a military dity move is packing up their own things, loading their own truck, driving the truck or paying an individual to drive the truck, and finally unloading at their destination. The solider then sends receipts detailing the costs of the truck, time nad labor in the move, as well as things like boxes, to the government who reviews the receipts and sends the solider enough money to pay for the move. This way the solider can be responsible for his or hers own move, but does not have to pay for the move, however the solider must put the money up front for the move. This system works out for both the solider and the government. The solider has the freedom to move his or hers own things, but also gets the reward of the government paying for the moving. The government wins because the soldier is moved to where he or she needs to be without a lot of hassle, just a bit of paperwork.
